Job Description:
CJTennis Coaching Inc. is looking for passionate, certified tennis coaches to join our growing coaching team in Langley, BC.
We are currently seeking a coach to lead our Langley Junior Tennis Program year-round, with opportunities to coach junior and adult programs, camps, and private lessons.
Compensation
$45–$60 per hour, depending on experience, certification, and coaching responsibilities.
Current Coaching Schedule
Monday: 3:10–5:40 PM
Tuesday: 3:10–5:40 PM
Friday: 3:10–5:40 PM
Saturday: 1:00–3:30 PM
Additional coaching hours may be available through private lessons, camps, school programs, and other CJTennis Coaching programs.
Locations
Lessons take place at multiple locations throughout Langley, including:
Our Indoor gymnasium in Walnut Grove
Local schools and community facilities in the Langley area
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality tennis lessons to junior and adult players of all abilities
Lead group classes, camps, private lessons, and other tennis programs
Create a fun, positive, and engaging learning environment
Provide players with clear and constructive technical feedback
Work collaboratively with other coaches as part of the CJTennis Coaching Team
Communicate effectively with coaches, administrators, parents, and clients
Follow CJTennis Coaching's lesson plans, curriculum, and coaching standards
Maintain a professional and positive coaching environment
Experience & Requirements
Tennis Canada certification
Minimum 1 year of tennis coaching experience
Minimum 3.5 NTRP playing level
Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals and player development
Competent knowledge of Google Sheets
Strong English communication skills
Additional languages are an asset
Reliable transportation to coaching locations is an asset
Passion for working with children and developing players of different ages and abilities
