Toronto’s summer weather set up a perfect weekend for the 2026 Canadian Beach Tennis Nationals as titles were handed out at Woodbine Beach on Sunday.
Leonardo Frugoni and Veronique Parke-Bedard each took home both available trophies, winning their respective doubles crown and teaming up to secure the mixed doubles title.
Frugoni, alongside Samuel Delgado, cruised to the men’s doubles winner’s circle. The second seeds received a first-round bye, then dropped just three games in their opening match. Frugoni and Delgado punched their ticket to the final by defeating third seeds Felippe Cronemberger and Bernardo Sousa in straight sets.
The top-two seeds battled for the title as Frugoni and Delgado came out with the 6-4, 6-2 win over Jesus Ayala and Noah Goldstein.
Frugoni successfully defended his crown, hoisting the trophy with Goldstein last year.

The women’s doubles draw had two new champions, though. Dominique Harmath and Parke-Bedard were dominant en route to the title, conceding only two games to top Group A and reach the final. The top seeds kept their flawless run intact as they beat Natascha Espinoza Gil and Nataly Spinosa 6-2, 6-3 for the championship.
Parke-Bedard and Frugoni then came together to repeat their feats in mixed doubles. The top seeds won the title after dropping six games in their three matches, both completing the sweep without giving up a single set.
Junior National silverware was also awarded as Oliver Das and Oliver Galeteanu topped their group to hoist the trophy.
