Tennis Canada is proud to announce that 32 organizations have been awarded funding as part of the GAME. SET. EQUITY. Community Tennis Grants presented by National Bank in 2026. The selected programs span from coast to coast to coast, located across all 10 provinces and one territory, ranging from local community tennis clubs to universities, adaptive sport organizations, and equity-focused grassroots initiatives.
The program awards funding to organizations across the country, investing in initiatives that work to advance equity and inclusion for women and girls in tennis. Continued support is delivered through education, connection, and resources that empower community members, players, coaches, and leaders to grow, advance, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of their work in tennis.
Since its inception in 2022, the Community Tennis Grants program has continued to grow, receiving a record number of applications in 2026. Supported by National Bank, this momentum has led to the introduction of two funding streams: a one-year grant of up to $7,500 for eligible organizations, and a two-year grant of up to $20,000 for past recipients, designed to support longer-term growth and sustainability. With $125,000 awarded in 2026, total program investment has now reached nearly $425,000.
“Tennis Canada is proud to continue investing in community tennis programs across the country as we advance equity and inclusion for women and girls in the sport,” said Terri Temelini, Director, Women & Girls Advancement, Tennis Canada. “This initiative is about more than funding—it’s about enabling organizations to deepen their impact and expand opportunities within their communities. With the introduction of the two-year grant, we’re taking an important step toward fostering long-term growth, stronger networks, and more sustainable pathways for women and girls in tennis.”
