Félix Auger-Aliassime, Gabriel Diallo, Liam Draxl, Alexis Galarneau, and Cleeve Harper have been selected to represent Team Canada at the Davis Cup in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The World Group I tie will take place on September 12 and 13 at Scotiabank Centre, with Canada set to face off against Israel.

“The road to the 2026 Davis Cup Finals starts now, and we're bringing an extremely strong squad to the East Coast as we look to return to the Qualifiers in February,” said team captain Frank Dancevic. “Even though we have a fantastic team on paper, we can't take this tie lightly – anything can happen in Davis Cup competition. Halifax, we look forward for the opportunity to perform for you and are eager to give our best in front of an energetic Canadian crowd.”

Auger-Aliassime, 24, will be representing Canada at the Davis Cup for the eighth time in his career and currently holds a record of 13 wins and four losses, including a 12-match win streak at the competition. The world No. 28 had a strong start to the season, winning ATP 250 titles at the Adelaide International and Open Occitanie. He also reached the final of the ATP 500 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, falling to No. 4 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece. Auger-Aliassime is one of eight men to win multiple Tour-level titles in 2025.

Diallo is poised to make his ninth appearance with the Canadian team. The 23-year-old has skyrocketed up the ATP rankings in 2025, reaching No. 36 thanks to a quarter-final finish at the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid, Spain, and his first ATP title at the ATP 250 Libema Open. Diallo has five wins and six losses in Davis Cup play, including three wins at home in Montreal, Quebec. This past week, the Montreal native was the top performer among his compatriots at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers (NBO) in Toronto, reaching the third round.

Draxl, 23, receives his third team nomination after making his on-court debut in February during the Davis Cup Qualifiers 1st Round against Hungary. He won in straight sets alongside Vasek Pospisil, who was playing his final Davis Cup match. So far this season, Draxl leads the ATP Challenger Tour in final appearances with seven, winning one of those championship matches at the Winnipeg National Bank Challenger in July. Last week, he played his first ATP Tour main-draw match at the NBO and climbed to No. 113 in the world rankings.

Laval’s Galarneau is set to make his 10th Davis Cup appearance, with a record of five wins and seven losses. The 26-year-old is fresh off his first ATP Tour main-draw win, defeating Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, the world No. 64, in straight sets in Toronto. Galarneau recently re-entered the Top 200, having missed part of the season due to injury. He is now ranked No. 193 in the world.

The team is rounded out by 24-year-old Harper, who is Canada's top men’s doubles player, ranked No. 92 in the world. He has won three doubles titles this season, including two with teammate Draxl. The Harper-Draxl duo also had a solid showing at the NBO, reaching the round of 16. Harper will represent Canada for the second time but has yet to play a match.
