The 2026 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers tie between Canada and Kazakhstan will be broadcast by TVA Sports and livestreamed by CBC Sports on the free CBC Gem streaming service, cbcsports.ca and the CBC Sports YouTube channel. The first day of the competition will begin at 5 a.m. ET on Friday, April 10,and will wrap up on Saturday, April 11, starting at 4 a.m. ET.

Led by interim captain Marie-Ève Pelletier, Team Canada will consist of Bianca Andreescu, Kayla Cross, Ariana Arseneault, and Sasha Vagramov. Opposing them will be Kazakhstan’s Yulia Putintseva, Anna Danilina, Zhibek Kulambayeva, Aruzhan Sagandykova, Sonja Zhiyenbayeva, and team captain Yuri Schukin.
The winning country will advance to the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, while the losing nation will compete in the Play-offs in hopes of returning to the Qualifiers in 2027.

- Canada (No. 4) reached the Qualifiers by winning its group at the 2025 Play-offs with victories over Denmark and Mexico.
- Kazakhstan (No. 9) qualified by reaching the 2025 Finals, losing to USA in the quarter-finals.

- The Canadian team was crowned world champions in 2023, defeating Italy 2-0 in the final.
- The official draw will take place on Thursday and will determine the matchups for the tie.
