Vasek enjoyed a prolific career on the ATP Tour that spanned 18 years.
Vasek defeated 7 Top 10 players in his career, including World No. 1 Andy Murray in 2017 in Indian Wells.
Vasek reached three ATP singles finals during his career.
Vasek won 21 singles titles on the ATP Challenger (11) and ITF Tours (10). His final title came on home soil at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Drummondville in 2022.
At Wimbledon in 2014, Vasek became just the third Canadian at the time to win a Grand Slam title in any discipline when he captured the men's doubles title with Jack Sock. He remains, as of August 2025, the most recent Canadian man to win a major title.
A year after his Wimbledon doubles victory, Vasek reached the singles quarter-finals at the All-England Club.
Vasek represented Canada in 60 Davis Cup matches over 35 ties during his career and won the title in 2022.
