The Nomination Committee (the “Committee”) is established by the members at the AGM to provide support to Tennis Canada in fulfilling its governance responsibilities by providing oversight, guidance and recommendations with respect to: 

• The identification, recruitment, and nomination of qualified individuals for election or appointment to the Board of Directors; 
• The nomination of Player Representative (Observer) positions, in accordance with the Nominating Committee Terms of Reference;
• The ongoing assessment of Board member participation, composition, competencies, and succession planning needs. 

The Committee ensures that nominations are aligned with the Corporation’s purpose, mission, values, and governance requirements, including regional representations, diversity, and competency needs as outlined in the By-laws. 

The Capacity, Participation & Inclusion Committee is established to provide strategic guidance, oversight, and recommendations to the Board on matters relating to:

• Development, sustainability and accessibility of National and Provincial tennis facilities nationwide
• Growth of participation across all demographics and levels of play
• Inclusion, equity, and safe‑sport practices within the tennis community

The Committee ensures that facility planning, participation initiatives, and inclusion strategies align with the organisation’s purpose, mission, vision, values, and long‑term strategic plan

The High Performance Committee is a Standing Committee appointed by the Board of Directors of the Canadian Tennis Association (the “Corporation”). The Committee is responsible for assisting the Board and senior management in overseeing the development and delivery of High-Performance strategy, pipeline and National Competitive Pathways, athlete relations planning and management, and program planning. The Committee provides strategic guidance and oversight relating to the identification, development, and progression of young athletes towards excellence, including pathways to NCAA, national teams and professional careers.
