Tennis Month - 4th Annual Afro Caribbean Summer Tennis Tournament Finals Day

Event Overview

After a week of competitive tennis played across courts throughout Ottawa, everything comes together on one day for one unforgettable celebration. Finals Festival Day is the moment our community has been building toward all week — part championship showdown, part community festival, and entirely a day to remember.
Whether you've been competing all week or you're coming out to cheer on a friend, a family member, or your community, this is a day for everyone. Come out, soak in the energy, and be part of something truly special.
Here's everything happening on the day:
🎾 Free Beginner Tennis Lesson — 11:00AM to 12:30PM
We kick off Finals Day by opening the courts to the whole community. Kids, adults, first-timers, and curious onlookers are all welcome to step on the court and try tennis for free. A great way to start the day before the championship action gets underway.
🏆 Championship Finals — All Five Divisions
The heart of the day. Ottawa's top amateur Afro Caribbean tennis players go head-to-head in championship finals across all five divisions:

Junior Doubles Finals ⭐ (Brand new in 2026!)
Junior Singles Finals
Women's Singles Finals
Men's Singles Finals
Mixed Doubles Finals

These are the matches players have fought through a full week of round-robin qualifying and knockout rounds to reach. Expect fierce rallies, big moments, and an electric atmosphere.
🎯 OTA Smash Cage Activation
One of the most popular features of Finals Day — the OTA Smash Cage is back. Test your power, challenge your friends, and see how hard you can really hit. Fun for all ages and always draws a crowd.
🍔 Community Food Vendors
Kfresh Market from Bells Corners will be on-site serving up great food throughout the day. Grab a bite, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere between matches.
🎵 DJ & MC All Day
Our Official DJ keeps the energy high from the first lesson to the last trophy. With live MC announcements keeping everyone in the action across every court, the atmosphere on Finals Day is unlike anything else Ottawa tennis has to offer.
🥇 Trophy & Awards Ceremony
We close the day the right way — with a full ceremony honoring the best of the best. Champions across all five divisions receive their trophies, outstanding junior players are recognized, and the Sportsmanship Award is presented to the competitor who best embodied the spirit of this community on and off the court. It's always a proud, emotional, and inspiring moment that reminds us all why we show up every year.
