Tennis Month - Beginner Learn & Play Wheelchair Tennis Program

Event Overview

We are excited to launch a free 5-week Wheelchair Tennis Beginner Learn & Play Program, at IQ Tennis & Pickleball Centre!

This inclusive program is open to participants of all ages and abilities, with no prior tennis experience required. Whether you are completely new to wheelchair tennis or looking to try the sport in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment, this program is designed for you. Please note that participants are required to bring their own sport wheelchair.

Program Details:
Duration: 5 week program, starting May 30th, with the final session taking place on June 27th . 
Date & Time: Saturdays, 5:30 PM -7:00 PM
Location: IQ Tennis & Pickleball Centre (9230 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB)
Cost: Free!

Accessibility

  • This program supports accessibility and inclusion by being free of charge and open to participants of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. As a wheelchair tennis–specific program, it provides a dedicated and supportive space for individuals with physical disabilities to get involved in sport in a beginner-friendly, play-based environment. Coaches will adapt activities to meet individual needs and support participants as they progress at their own pace. Please note that participants are required to bring their own sport wheelchair.
