OUR MOMENT IS NOW
This year, with the generous support of individual donors and corporate partners, we launched the Women’s High-Performance Accelerator — a new initiative that invests directly in emerging athletes and coaches to fast-track their development and success at the elite level.
Our investments focus on six key pillars: Coaching & IST, Sports Science, Sports Medicine & Wellness, Access to Competitions & Elite Training Environments, Facility Upgrades, Mentorship.
OUR GOALS
- More Canadian women advancing to higher WTA rankings
- Strengthened supports that benefit the overall health and wellbeing of our athletes
- Increased development, system capacity, and advancement opportunities for women as athletes, leaders, and coaches
- To Inspire the next generation of athletes to participate in tennis Increased national pride and international reputation that will strengthen communities across the country and around the world
This year’s National Bank Open champion, Vicky Mboko, is proof our approach is working. At just 18, she displayed the grit, determination, and talent that showed Canada — and the world — what our athletes are capable of.
With continued investment, we can help more emerging Canadian women’s tennis stars Meet their Moment.
Are you inspired to help us support our athletes to Meet the Moment? Learn more below about how you can help us reach our goal of $5 million for Women’s High-Performance Tennis.
