For the second year in a row, IGA Stadium will play host to the North, Central America, and Caribbean qualifying rounds for the ITF World Junior Team Competitions this week. Team Canada will be looking to punch its ticket to the Finals of the Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, Davis Cup Juniors, and ITF World Junior Tennis (U14 girls and boys) once again.
Last year, all four Canadian teams qualified for their respective finals.
Here is everything you need to know about this week’s qualifying event in Montreal.
Event Format
Each division (Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, Davis Cup Juniors, WJT Girls, WJT Boys) will feature one group of four teams competing in a round robin. Each team will play each other once. The top two teams in each group at the end of the round robin will advance to the Finals later in the year.
Ties between nations will consist of two singles matches and one doubles match. The ties are all best two out of three, with matches being standard best-of-three sets.
The Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, Davis Cup Juniors, and U14 Girls World Junior Tennis divisions all feature the same four teams: Canada, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and the United States. The U14 Boys World Junior Tennis group includes Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States.

The 2026 U14 World Junior Tennis Finals will take place in Prostejov, Czechia, in early August. The dates and location of the Davis Cup Juniors and Billie Jean King Cup Juniors Finals will be communicated by the ITF at a later date.
Last year, Canada finished second behind the United States in both U14 divisions and the Davis Cup Juniors. Canada’s Billie Jean King Cup Juniors team won their group. The U14 WJT girls team went on to win a silver medal at the Finals in August.
