Raphaëlle Lacasse made the most of her time back in her home province. Following her triumph in Quebec City, the Montrealer secured back-to-back doubles titles by winning the W75 Saguenay National Bank Challenger alongside Ariana Arseneault.

Lacasse faced her Quebec City teammate Alexandra Vagramov – who partnered with Melodie Collard this time – in the quarter-final. The No. 4 seeds managed to survive a tight three-setter in the all-Canadian matchup before taking down No. 2 seeds Jenny Duerst of Switzerland and Jessica Failla of the USA in the semifinal.

Arseneault and Lacasse’s ultimate test was to defeat No. 1 seeds Jasmijn Gimbrere and defending champion Anna Rogers for the title. The Dutch-American duo narrowly got by Canadian Kayla Cross and Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova to reach the final.

The No. 4 seeded Canadians dropped the opening set but turned things around in the second before eventually taking the match 5-7, 6-3, 10-5.

This was Arsenesault’s second ITF doubles title of 2025, winning the W35 Manchester in February with Rogers. Lacasse claimed her third title of the year, all coming in Quebec.

In singles, No. 1 seed Cross was stunned in the second round by Slovak qualifier Irina Balus. The London-native was one of three Canadians to finish in the round of 16.

No. 4 seed Anastasia Tikhonova was too good for her opponents, dropping just nine games in her first four matches en route to the final. Tikhonova carried her momentum into the championship match against Hruncakova, as she cruised toa 6-3, 6-2 win for her sixth-career ITF singles title.
