With the conclusion of the final ITF Masters event in Canada and the end of the calendar year fast approaching, it is time to reflect and celebrate another successful year of Masters tennis.
Here is the monthly Masters tennis update by ABRYSVO, looking back on the best Canadian results of 2025.
The ITF season on Canadian soil wrapped up at the beginning of November with a MT100 event in Victoria, BC. The host nation capped off the season in style, claiming nine of ten trophies up for grabs. Only the 30+ men’s singles was won by a non-Canadian, while the 50+ women’s doubles title was won by Canada’s Danielle Wilson and her German partner Eva Miller.
Here is the full list of winners (all Canadian unless otherwise noted):
| Men’s Singles | Women’s Singles | Men’s Doubles | Women’s Doubles |
30+ | Andre Rodriguez Calderon (ESP) | No event | Jeff Chu/ | No event |
40+ | Nicholas Yip | No event | No event | No event |
50+ | Shaun Erdei | Shannon Hecker | Timothy Hopper/ | Eva Miller (GER)/ |
60+ | Glenn Cleland | Ellen Toth | No event | Cerris Davis/ |
In total, 253 draws were contested in Canada across 10 ITF Masters events in 2025. Canadians claimed 220 of those trophies, with 205 of them going solely into Canadian hands (aka: excluding doubles titles where one partner was not Canadian).
Three of the 10 events saw a Canadian lift the trophy in every single draw: Calgary in February, Montreal in May, and London in July.
